Accessibility

Keen Company continues to work to make our programming truly accessible to all audience members. All venues utilized by Keen must meet ADA accessibility requirements. Keen continues to work to make this website complaint with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA.

  • Most of our productions take place at Theatre Row, located at 410 West 42nd Street, New York, NY 10036. Get directions via Google Maps.

  • Elevators: All levels at Theatre Row are accessible by an elevator located toward the back of the building, on the right hand side as you enter the main lobby.

Restrooms: Restrooms at Theatre Row are reached by elevator on the lounge level (Floor 2) without any inclines or raised thresholds. One designated accessible stall is provided in both the men’s and women’s section. A private accessible restroom is also available on the basement level (Floor C), reached by elevator and without any inclines or raised thresholds. Additional stalled restrooms are also available on the basement level (Floor C), however they are only reached by a set of small steps without a railing.

Seating: Theatre Five in Theatre Row is seven rows deep and fifteen seats wide. The seating is structured on an angle, slightly raked. Patrons arrive at the back of the theater, and the top of the incline. All seats, except the back row are reached by taking small steps down. There is an aisle on either side of the venue, no center aisle. Shallow wide steps bring patrons down to each row, similar to a movie theater. There is a railing on one side of these steps for the full length of the aisle.

Six transfer seats are located in the back row of the theater (G15, G14, G10, G6, G2, G1). Four wheelchair locations are also available in the back row and can be paired with companion seats. View a seating chart of Theatre Four at Theatre Row.

  • ASL interpreted performances are scheduled on a show-by-show basis.

Find more information about upcoming accessible performances on each production’s webpage.

  • A Hearing Loop (Audio Induction Loop) system is present in all Theatre Row venues. The system transmits directly to most hearing aids which are equipped with a ‘T’ (Telecoil) setting. Patrons can also pick-up a headset and receiver from house management in the main lobby of the building (to the right of the main entrance). Patrons will need a photo ID to receive a device.
